WITH little more than 100 tickets left for the seven-night run, Chorley Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society is looking forward to opening its 2012-13 season with Calendar Girls on Saturday.
Tickets for the comedy play have been on sale for several months and it is the society’s best season launch since ‘Allo ‘Allo in 2006.
Chairman Ian Robinson said: “With so many tickets sold and just a few days until opening night, Calendar Girls is proving to be one of our most popular shows for years.
“The director Barbara Wilcox and her team have been working tirelessly to put together an hilarious and touching show. Hopefully, the reception of this play will lead to great attendance for the rest of the season.”
CADOS are among a host of societies across the country to be staging the play on Saturday, which marks its premier for the amateur circuit. It runs until Saturday, September 8.
