WORK by artist Donald Holden is on exhibition at the gallery@ arteology in Colne from July 30 to August 27.
The exhibition, called Landscape Allusions, consists of recent paintings by the artist.
Donald said: "Landscape forms the basis of all my paintings, providing the starting point from which ideas spring.
"The subjects are particularly northern, as that is my landscape, and the one to which I constantly respond.
"Personal influeces hark back to Paul Nash, Graham Sutherland and John Piper, adding current artists such as David Prentice, David Tress and many others."
* Donald Holden's Landscape Illusions is at Artelogy, West End Buildings, Albert Road, Colne from July 30 until August 27.
