TWO performances of The Secret Garden will take place in Blackburn Cathedral’s grounds on July 30.
The performances will be accompanied by a fête, organised by Blackburn with Darwen Council in partnership with the cathedral.
It will include the Wellybobs Animal Roadshow and the North West Reptile Club. The cathedral’s Sunday School children, their parents and teachers will support Derian House by selling toys and gifts. The Boys’ Choir will run a cake stall and a second-hand book stall for choir tour funds and The Friends of Blackburn Cathedral will be selling Christmas cards.
Hansel & Gretel was staged last week and more outdoor theatre performances will take place in August.
