THE man with the big collars and an obsession with badgers made a return on Saturday with the delightfully silly Harry Hill's TV Burp.

Love him or loathe him (I love him) you can't deny the man has an uncanny knack of finding humour buried in otherwise mundane TV.

After all, how could anyone dislike a man who suggests re-creating the opening sequence to Emmerdale by strapping a camera on your head and panning over a plate of broccoli?

It's good to have him back, turning his hilariously skewed vision on the week's soaps, documentaries and dramas after a dalliance in kids' TV. Surely he's too good to waste on 10-year-olds?

Fans would have been pleased to see the return of the weekly fight, TV highlight of the week, TV extra of the week, TV biscuit of the week and the all-new celebrity highlight of the week where Harry questions a celebrity about their taste in television.

Apparently, Harry and his researchers spend almost every waking moment watching review tapes of programmes to make the show and one of his favourite sources is Wife Swap.

Can't wait to see what he makes of Celebrity Big Brother.

Welcome back, Harry. But there's just one question. If he's here on our screens every Saturday night for the next 10 weeks, who's grooming the badgers for the badger parade?
