WHAT do EastEnders' Hannah Waterman, Casualty's Luke Bailey and ex-Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis have in common?

I'll give you a clue - it's definitely nothing to do with having any semblance of common sense.

For the gruesome threesome are part of the line-up of the all new (ahem) star-studded cast of Just the Two of Us - like Strictly Come Dancing but with singing.

Janet's daughter, songstress Sophie Ellis Bextor, must be cringing into her retro A-line skirt collection.

The show sees a handful of minor celebs paired with music legends (and Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten fame) and taught to perform.

Also on board are Watchdog's Julia Bradbury - paired with Tony Christie, Masterchef baldie Greg Wallace - with Carol Decker, and EastEnders' John Bardon (Jim Branning) - with soul legend Jocelyn Brown.

Bizarrely Strictly Come Dancing professional and lothario Brendan Cole hops onto the other side of the fence for this show with a role as the amateur - which seems to me a bit like reality TV gone mad.

After last night's opening show we were left with many questions.

Will the OTT judging panel realise slagging off each contestant doesn't necessarily mean they'll get as rich as Simon Cowell?

Will we ever be able to get over the inexplicable cringeworthiness of the false bantering between married presenters Tess Daly and Vernon Kay?

And will anyone this time be as horrific as Penny Smith was last year when she murdered "When I Fall in Love" with Curtis Stigers?
