AS Hallowe’en approaches there’s definitely magic in the air for Burnley Light Opera Society as members rehearse its next production The Witches Of Eastwick.
The story, best known for the Jack Nicholson and Cher movie, sees three desperate housewives in small-town America wish for the man of their dreams – but they get more than they expected when the mysterious Darryl Van Horne turns up.
A BLOS spokesman said: “This is a very challenging and technical show and the society are having a great time putting all the elements together.”
