THERE is less than a fortnight left for East Lancashire musicians to put their names forward for the Telegraph-backed Reidy’s Talent Competition.
A £1,000 prize awaits the winner of the search for the most talent individual or group of individuals.
The competition, organised by Reidy’s Home of Music, will have four heats held on successive Thursday nights at King George’s Hall, Blackburn, in February with the grand final on Thursday, March 7.
To qualify, auditions will be held on the live stage at Reidy’s music on Nab Lane.
The competition is open to amateur and semi-professional unsigned musicians and vocalists.
All music must be performed live — backing tracks will not be permitted. The minimum age is 14 and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.The maximum number of people in any group is limited to five Closing date for applications is 5pm on Thursday, January 17.
