EAST Lancashire music fans will get the chance to see pop icons Blondie in the unusual surroundings of Cheshire’s Delamere Forest next summer as part of a series of concerts around the UK organised by the Forestry Commission.
Blondie, fronted by Debbie Harrry, will headline seven Forest Live events including Delamere on Saturday, July 6. The band has had a series of hit singles including Picture This, Denis, Heart of Glass and Maria.
Support will come from Liverpool’s The Lightning Seeds performing an acoustic set of their own hits such as Lucky You and Change.
