East Lancashire’s biggest pantomime is a riot of colour, fun and entertainment offering something for all the family.

The Stageworks productions at King George’s Hall always look amazing – and this year is no exception with dazzling costumes and sparkling stage sets.

And there are performances to match, making this a must-see for the festive season.

Local lad Kevin Simm, formerly of Liberty X, is a fine Prince Charming and boy can he sing.

"In fact, the vocal talent on stage is one of the show’s strongest points with the cast tackling everything from Kings of Leon and Take That to a riotous Twelve Days of Christmas.

A Blackburn panto wouldn’t be the same without Phil Walker and he’s back again as Buttons, displaying that rare ability to connect with 1,000 over-excited children and entertain the grown-ups too.

Hannah Telford is everything Cinders should be, and what every little girl in the audience would like to be.

And then there are the ugly sisters – Scott Campbell and Bryan Reid – their Beyonce routine has to be seen to be believed.

Other highlights include the juggling genius of Shizzy Mizzy and a magical moment when it actually snows inside King George’s Hall.
