BLACKBURN’S newest refreshment bar made a spectacular entry when it was lifted into place by a giant crane in 1991.
The Cabin on the Boulevard next to the railway station became a popular spot for passengers and shoppers alike.
The converted caravan had a specially -adapted serving hatch pre-fitted before it was hoisted into its new home.
The photo also records another of Blackburn’s ‘lost’ pubs - the Star and Garter which later became The Boulevard.
