Trough of Bowland, 1963
Summer in East Lancashire and it’s time to go out and enjoy the beautiful scenery on our doorstep.
Very little has changed in that regard since this photograph was taken in the Trough of Bowland in July 1963.
Cars are filling up every available space as families set out their picnics and you can see the queue at the ice cream stand
