A NEW business helping people to go green is set to open its doors to its brand new premises.

Future Energy Solutions, on Manchester Road in Accrington, encourages both businesses and domestic customers to look into alternative ways of creating power through energy-based products.

The firm, now into its fourth year, has moved from Abbey Street to its new home and has taken on four new staff, to boost numbers to 16, with four more positions being created in the summer.

And Director Joel Tetlow said the firm had found a niche in the market between the installers and energy companies and are getting great results.

He said: "We find that a lot of people have had nothing but bad experiences when it comes to renewable energy, as they are not informed correctly about all the solutions available to help cut down their energy costs.

"In some cases even been sold something that hasn't met expectations.

"I used to work for a big firm and we would go and see customers and agree one thing but then it would be changed back office. I didn't think that was right so that's why I set up this business.

"The industry is struggling but we have found a niche and we are making a real difference to business and domestic customers.

"The way we do this is by finding the right green energy products for their individual needs and demands. We work with the best installers and project manage everything for the customer from start to finish taking the pressure off completely.

"Our consultants our experts in this field and our main aim is too reduce what our customers are spending on their energy bills.

"Our new showroom will give people the chance to see what's available as they won't really have an understanding until they see it.

"We can lower people's energy bills and as a lot of the equipment is rented, they won't have to lay out money upfront so they can use saving to rent the equipment and once it's paid off the savings stay in their pockets."

Miranda Barker, CEO of the East Lancs Chamber of Commerce, is the guest of honour at the opening of the new showroom on Thursday, April 26. Proceedings start an 12noon with the ribbon cutting at 1pm.
