ST PETERS WAY TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S.14(1) & S.16(1) THE BOLTON (ST PETERS WAY) (TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT) (N0.86) ORDER 2016
The Council has made an order, the effect of which, being operative from 14 May 2018, will be to introduce a temporary 40mph speed limit on St Peters Way (A666), southbound carriageway only, from its junction with the on slip-road from Manchester Road (at Moses Gate) to its junction with the M61. The restriction is necessary to facilitate railway improvement works and will last for approximately 8 months. The Order will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever is first.
