THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (HILTON LANE/HOPE ROAD, PRESTWICH) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-NO WAITING AT ANY TIME Hilton Lane, Prestwich Northerly side, from a point 15 metres west of the westerly kerbline of Hope Road to a point 15 metres east of the easterly kerbline of Hope Road Hope Road, Prestwich Northerly side, from the northerly kerbline of Hilton Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction
that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-NO WAITING AT ANY TIME Hilton Lane, Prestwich Northerly side, from a point 15 metres west of the westerly kerbline of Hope Road to a point 15 metres east of the easterly kerbline of Hope Road Hope Road, Prestwich Northerly side, from the northerly kerbline of Hilton Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction
Easterly side, from the northerly kerbline of Hilton Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction
A copy of the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within it), a plan showing the roads and area affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the reception desk at the address below during normal office hours.
Objections to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing and sent to Highway Network Management, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury or by email to traffic@burv. gov.uk quoting reference TM2/18/427 by 13 April 2018. Dated: 22 March 2018 Council Solicitor

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1)
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (IRWELL STREET AM) LOWER BANK STREET, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2018 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be:-
that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be:-
1) To prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along Irwell Street, Bury -(carriageway and easterly side footway) - from its junction with Lower Bank Street to Regency Chambers

2) To prohibit any vehicles and pedestrians from proceeding along Lower Bank Street, Bury (carriageway and southerly side footway) - from its junction with Irwell Street for a distance of 75 metres in an easterly direction

The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate the demolition of the former Bury GMP Headquarters building. The alternative route will be via:-
1) Lower Bank Street and temporary access road and vice versa.

2) Irwell Street and temporary access road and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation on Monday 26 March 2018 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 4 weeks. Both roads will NOT be closed at the same time. Dated 22 March 2018 Council Solicitor
