LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123 (1), (2A) DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE LAND FORMING A FOOTPATH BETWEEN MILTON ROAD/BYRON AVENUE AND THE FORMER COLERIDGE AVENUE GARAGE COLONY, RADCLIFFE
Pursuant to section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972, The Metropolitan Borough of Bury hereby gives notice of its intention to dispose of land forming a footpath between Milton Road/Byron Avenue and the former Coleridge Avenue Garage Colony, Radcliffe (being approximately 156 sq metres). A copy of the plan showing the position of the land in question is available for inspection at the Town Hall, Knowsley Street, Bury, BL9 OSW.
This is a formal notice given insofar as the above described parcel of land consists or forms part of an open space for the purposes of section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972.
Further information or objections regarding the above should be made in writing and addressed to Paul Aungier of the Property and Asset Management Department, at 3 Knowsley Place, Bury, BL9 OEJ or by email to p.aungier(5).burv.gov.uk to be received by no later than 11 April 2018. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 19th March 2018 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
