LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (SHOWLEY ROAD AND SACCARY LANE, CLAYTON-LE-DALE, MELLOR, RIBBLE VALLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle or cycle to proceed over the following lengths of highway in the Borough of Ribble Valley:

i. Showley Road, Clayton-Le-Dale, Mellor from its junction with A59 Longsight Road for a distance of 815 metres in a Southerly direction.
ii. Saccary Lane, Mellor form its junction with Mellor Lane for a distance of 1458 metres in a Northerly direction.

2. The prohibition will be operative from 0700 hours on Saturday 28th October 2017 until 1700 hours on Friday 8th December 2017 or until completion of the works within this period. 3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:- A59 Longsight Road – Abbot Brow – Mellor Lane and vice versa.
