BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN BOROUGH COUNCIL (FURTHERGATE, BLACKBURN) (RED ROUTE) EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that on the 19th October 2017, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council in exercise of powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 made the above Order the effect of which is to regulate traffic as follows:-.

1. Red Route controls on the entireties of Furthergate, Bottomgate, Copy Nook, Higher Eanam, Culshaw Street, Back Higher Audley Street and Eden St (New) and parts of:

* Eden St (Old) east side between Dock St and Copy Nook
* Higher Audley St, from around its junction with Chester St, to Copy Nook
* Burnley Rd between Accrington Rd and Gorse St
* Accrington Rd between Furthergate and Didsbury St
* Harwood St between Furthergate and Crabtree St
* Higher Barn St between Higher Audley St and Back Higher Audley St
* Dock St south side full length
* Wharf St north side full length
* Eanam from Wharf St to Eanam Wharf
* Limited waiting bays for 1 hour, no return within 1 hour between 8am and 6pm on parts of:
* Wharf St south side
* Copy Nook north side between Gate St and Higher Eanam
* Higher Barn St both sides between Eanam and approx. back Higher Barn St
* Eden St (Old) east side
* Higher Audley St north side between Eden St (New) and Higher Eanam

3. Limited waiting bays for 2 hours, no return within 2 hours on parts of:

* Higher Eanam north side from Culshaw St for 45 metres west
* Culshaw St west side
* Higher Audley St north side from 12 metres east of Culshaw St for 10 metres easterly and from 12 metres west of Culshaw St for 10 metres westerly

4. Single yellow line restriction, 8am to 6pm on Ordnance St, where it meets Bottomgate

The Order will come into force on the 19th day of October 2017 and will remain in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months. During that period, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council will be considering whether the provisions of this experimental order should be continued in force indefinitely. Any objections to the order must be made in writing, with grounds specified, to the undersigned within 6 months from the date of this notice. Amendments to this Order may be made by issuing a further Order. Copies of the Order, relevant plans and statement of reasons may be examined at the Information Desks in Blackburn Town Hall, during opening hours.
