LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (RUSSELL PLACE, GREAT HARWOOD, HYNDBURN BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle or cycle to proceed over that length of Russell Place, Great Harwood from its junction with Duke Street to its junction with Earl Street in the borough of Hyndburn.
2. The prohibition will be operative from 0800 hours on Thursday 21st September 2017 until 1700 hours on Thursday 5th October 2017 or until completion of the works within this period.
3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:- Diversion 1 Earl St – James St – Duke St and vice versa. Diversion 2 Russell Place – Wordsworth Drive – Shakespeare Avenue – B6535 Blackburn Road – Commercial Road – Russell Place and vice versa.
