ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WOKINGHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL (PUBLIC BYWAY 18 BARKHAM (HOGWOOD LANE))

(PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority HAS MADE the above named Order under Sections 1 (1), 2 (1) and 2 (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which prohibits all motor vehicles and horse drawn carriages with four or more wheels and having a width of more than 1.52m (5ft) from entering or proceeding along Public Byway 18 Barkham (Hogwood Lane) between its junctions with Sheerlands Road and the western end of the adopted section of Hogwood Lane.

The restrictions contained in the Order will not apply to any vehicle requiring access to properties only accessible from the said road.

The Order was made on the 4th day of September 2017 and will come into operation on the 15th day of September 2017.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it not within the powers conferred by the above provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or that any procedural requirement contained in an instrument made under that Act has not been complied with may within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for that purpose to the High Court.
