BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON THE BOLTON (LANCASTER AVENUE AREA, BOLTON) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT] (NO.11) ORDER 2017

The Council have made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; operative from 9th June 2017 its effect will be to impose a speed limit of 20 mph on and on all other entire lengths of roads within the Lancaster Avenue Area, Bolton. This comprises roads in the area bounded by Plodder Lane, Bradford Road and Minerva Road to the east of Royal Bolton Hospital. Additionally it includes Meadow Walk and Back Tern Avenue (to the south of Highfield Road) as specified in the Order.

A copy of the Order, plans and statement of reasons may be viewed at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton, during office hours. Anybody wishing to question the Order's provisions or validity may, within 6 weeks from the 2nd June 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose. Dated: 2nd June 2017 REF: LS/KT/72386

The Council have made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; operative from 9th June 2017 its effect will be to impose a speed limit of 20 mph on roads within the Heaton Area. These comprise roads in the area bounded by Chorley New Road, Devonshire Road, Chorley Old Road, Whitecroft Road, Marland Hill Lane and Old Kiln Lane extending to the west to Bolton Golf Club, as specified in the Order. A copy of the Order, plans and statement of reasons may be viewed at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton, during office hours.
