RUMWORTH RD TEMPORARY CLOSURE

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTIONS 14(1) AND 16(1) THE BOLTON (RUMWORTH ROAD, BOLTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.62) ORDER 2017

The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order, the effect of which, being operative from 22 May 2017, will be to prohibit all vehicular and pedestrian traffic from entering, stopping, standing, waiting, loading, unloading or otherwise remaining at rest in Rumworth Road, from Regent Rd to Middlebrook Drive. Alternative route for vehicles will be via Junction Rd West, Beaumont Rd, Chorley New Rd, Lostock Junciton Lane. Alternative route for pedestrians will be Junction Rd West, Beaumont Rd, Glengarth Driven. The Order is necessary due to bridge reconstruction works which will last for approximately 6 months and will cease to have effect 18 months from its operative date or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
