ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (BACK HORNBY STREET EAST AND BACK WALMERSLEY ROAD WEST, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-

Back Hornby Street East, Bury - between Birch Street and Back Argyle Street Back Walmersley Road West, Bury - between Birch Street and Monmouth Avenue The reason for the proposed order is to enable telecommunications/broadband works to be carried out.

The alternative route will be via adjacent local streets and will be signed on site. The proposed Order will come into operation on Thursday 11 May 2017 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 2 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 3 weeks. The reason for the proposed order is to enable for the replacement of a manhole

frame and cover.

The alternative route will be via Walshaw Road and Fenton Street.

The proposed Order will come into operation on Saturday 06 May 2017 and shall

remain in force for a period of up to 1 month, (between approx 9.00am and S.OOpm).

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (ROCHDALE OLD ROAD, BURY) (LIMITED WAITING) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on an experimental basis for 12 months as follows:-

Introduction of Limited Waiting, Monday to Friday 9.00 am - 4.00 pm

Rochdale Old Road, Bury - Northerly side, from a point 6 metres east of the projected easterly kerbline of Martin Street for a distance of 12 metres in an easterly direction

A copy of the Order which comes into force on 11 May 2017 and which will remain in place for up to 12 months, a plan showing the roads and area affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the reception desk at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury during normal office hours. Representations or objections to the Order, together with the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing and sent to Highway Network Management, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury or by e-mail to traffic(5).burv. gov.uk quoting ref:TM2/l 7/397 within 6 months of the Order coming into force. The Council will consider during the 12 months period whether the provisions of the Order should continue indefinitely. Dated 4 May 2017
