THE BOLTON (BRADSHAW/TURTON ROAD AREA, BOLTON) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (NO) ORDER 2017

The Council propose to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984; its effect will be to impose a speed limit of 20 mph on roads within the Bradshaw/Turton Road Area, Bolton, comprising all roads accessed from Bradshaw Brow, Turton Road, Lea Gate, Bradshaw Road and Tottington Road (West side), as specified in the draft Order.

A copy of the draft Order, together with relevant plans and statement of the reasons may be viewed online at www.bolton.gov.uk/trafficorders or at Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton, during office hours (by appointment, tel. 01204 336677).

Objections/representations to it should state the grounds and be sent by e-mail to highways@bolton.gov.uk or in writing to Highways and Engineering Division, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Civic Centre, Bolton BL1 1UA no later than 31st March 2017.

(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2015 (MOTTRAM STREET/BACK CHORLEY NEW ROAD NORTH, BOLTON) (AMENDMENT) (NO.) ORDER 2017

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, its effect will be as follows:-

Bk Chorley New Rd Nrth - Both sides - From a point 10 metres south of the intersection of the extended southerly kerbine of Mottram Street to a point 10 metres north of the intersection of the extended northerly kerbline of Mottram Street.

Mottram Street-North-side -From the intersection ofthe extended easterlykerbline ofBack Chorley New Road North for a distance of 10 metres in a easterly direction. Mottram Street - South-side - From the intersection of the extended easterly kerbline of Back ChorleyNewRoad North for adistance of38 metres in a easterlydirection.

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.) ORDER 2017

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.

The effect of which will be operative from 17th March 2017 and will prohibit all pedestrian traffic from using Public Footpath No.083 Blackrod commencing from Blackrod By-Pass; point A at grid reference SD 361867 410995 in a generally north-east by northerly direction to point B at grid reference SD 362024 411189 as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1Bla083 over a total distance of approximately 257 metres.

No alternative route is available.

The Order isnecessarytofacilitate the construction ofa newfootbridge and will continue for a period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier
