Notice is hereby given that on 30/06/20 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) ot the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the following 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions on Park Road, Norton-on-Derwent - (South side): From the rear access to 42 Welham Road, eastwards for a distance of 12 metres; (North side): From opposite the rear access to 42 Welham Road, eastwards for a distance of 12 metres. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 16/07/20, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton, during normal office hours between 15/07/20 & 11/08/20 & also available to be viewed online at

If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 30/06/20 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
