North Yorkshire County Council, (40 Mph Speed Limit) (Station Road, Gilling East) Order
NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 miles per hour on any length of road at Gilling East specified below:-
Roads in the Village of Gilling East
40 MPH Speed Limit - B1363, Station Road -From a point 340 metres of north of the centre line of its junction with Cawton Road, northawards for a distance of 407 metres. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton during normal office hours from 15/07/20 & also viewed online at
