THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN (VARIOUS ROADS) (RED ROUTE! (TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2019

NOTICE is hereby given that Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council proposes to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) ("the Act") the general effect of which is to revoke the existing order called the Borough of Blackburn with Darwen (Furthergate, Blackburn) (Red Route) Traffic Management Order 2019 but create a new red route order by including the new highways listed in Schedule 1 below to and to have these additional highways subject to the Red Route clearway restrictions. The red route that is in operation under the current order is to be revoked and substituted with the highways listed in Schedule 2 and which are effectively restatements of the current red route order. The remainder of the order relating to the limited waiting order or no waiting orders are proposed to be revoked. The usual exemptions will apply.

Copies of the Order and plans for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Information Desks, Town Hall Blackburn and Town Hall Darwen on Mondays to Fridays inclusive between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. (excluding Bank Holidays). Any queries concerning the proposals should be made by telephoning the Council on 01254-587668. This notice uses the following acronyms: "m" = metres, "CL" = centreline

Written objections to the proposed Order, specifying the grounds thereof, should be sent to the undersigned to be received no later than 13 September 2019.
