UNDER SECTION 14/1 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL) INTENDS TO MAKE ORDERS AS FOLLOWING (BRIDLEWAY BURG/16/1, BURGHFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS, CYCLISTS AND EQUESTRIANS) ORDER 2019
The Council INTENDS, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any cyclist, pedestrian or equestrian from proceeding in any direction over Bridleway 16/1 between School Lane and Woodlands Avenue in the Parish of Burghfield.
The alternative route for all those affected by this order is via School Lane, Boldrewood, Birch Road, Pine Ridge Road, Woodlands Avenue and vice versa. The purpose of this Order is to enable works to be executed on or near the Bridleway namely to resurface the Bridleway
The proposed Order will come into effect on Monday 29th July 2019. It is envisaged that the works will take approx. 5 days to complete and will take place sometime in the 2019 school summer holidays.

ORDER 2019
The Council has made an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing a vehicle to exceed twenty miles per hour or wait in any direction over Reading road, between its junctions with Bunces lane and Recreation road or along any of its diversion routes when the road is closed. The purpose of this Order is to enable SGN to replace and/or reinforce the gas main. The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th July 2019. It is envisaged that the closure will be in place from the 22nd July 2019 for approximately 9 weeks. Unless stated otherwise the above orders shall remain in force for a period of eighteen months, or until the works are complete, whichever is the soonest, they will not take effect until approved traffic signs have been erected.
