THOMAS AINSWORTH Tommy, July 5th, 2006 God saw that you were getting tired, And the cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered "Come to Me" With tearful eyes I watched you, And saw you pass away, And although I love you dearly, I could not make you stay. Each day I see your picture, You seem to smile and say "Don't cry, I'm in God's keeping And we'll meet again some day" There is always something missing, No matter what I do, A constant longing in my heart For yesterday and you.
