Mary TOWNSEND (nee Wright) On Monday, July 13, 2009, peacefully at home, Mary passed away aged 74 years. Much loved wife of John and mum of Andrew, Mark, Gail and Jonathan, loved grandma and great-grandma, mother-in-law and sister of Kitty and of the late Bessie. Reposing in the Darwen Chapel of Rest, the cortege will leave from Mary's home on Monday, July 20, 2009, for a 2.30 p.m. service and cremation at Pleasington Crematorium. Family flowers only please but donations may be made in memory of Mary to the Parkinsons Society, c/o Darwen Funeral Service 59/61 Blackburn Road, Blackburn BB3 1EJ. Tel: 01254 873618.
