GORDON Brian Gerard Peacefully, on Tuesday 2nd August 2022 at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 83 years. Former Blackburn councillor for Meadowhead Ward. The dearly loved husband of Pat, much loved dad of Wendy, Graham and Gill, dear father-in-law of Sandy, Claire and Michael, loving grandad of Charlotte, Rebecca, Oliver, Francesca and William. Brian will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends. A service and cremation will be held on Thursday 18th August 2022 at 2:15 pm at Pleasington. Family flowers only, or if so desired, donations may be made in memory of Brian to the British Heart Foundation or the British Lung Foundation, c/o The Alty Funeral Service. Enq. I've just received the sad news of Brian's passing.
He and I worked together as colleagues and managers at Walls. I always had the utmost respect for Brian and his good
sense in his decisions in his working life.
He was a good friend to me and helped me on many occasions. Rest in peace Brian. You were one of the best.
