JEAN TAYLOR (nee Hanson) 90 yrs, 17.06.1930 died peacefully at home on 01.03.2021 Attended Rishton C of E school, followed by Blackburn Girls High School before starting work at N.H.S. finance dept. Married 11.06.1960 to Derek, having two children Jill and Roger, being a housewife thereafter. During 60 yrs of marriage, travelled to many countries of the world, enjoyed being a member of Blackburn G & S Society over 40 years and served over 42 yrs with The Samaritans and was chosen as a North West representative to visit Buckingham Palace on Prince Charles 70th birthday. A good life together with Derek. Due to the current climate, there will only be a direct cremation being held. Please make any donations in Jean's memory to Blackburn Samaritans, 105, New Park St., Blackburn, BB2 1DF
