ROY SLATER On Wednesday November 11th 2020, peacefully at Thorncliffe Nursing Home, Roy aged 88 years. The much loved husband of the late Maureen Slater, the dearly loved dad of Deborah, Paul, Wayne and Christine, a dearly loved grandad of Daniel, Adrienne, Ashley, Loren, Shaun and Daniel, much loved great grandad of Evie, Arabella and Hollie, a loving brother of Jack, Thomas and Gerald, also a sadly missed uncle and friend to many. The family would like to thank Thorncliffe Nursing Home for their love and care over the last few years. Roy will be sadly missed by all his family and friends Reposing in the Darwen Chapel of Rest, Blackburn Road, Darwen. The funeral service and committal will take place at Pleasington Crematorium on Monday November 23rd at 12.15pm.
