ELIZABETH (Betty) ATHERTON (nee Gibson) On Wednesday 9th October 2019, peacefully in Springhill Care Home, Accrington and late of Linden House Care Home and Woodlands Avenue Cherry Tree, Betty, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife for 69 years of the late Walter. Loving and much loved mum of Eileen, Christine and Susan and dear mother-in-law of Roy and Phil. Dearly loved and loving Nana of Lisa, Lee, Amy, Eleanor and the late David and a much loved Nana Betty to her eight great grandchildren. Also a very dear aunt to Bill, Ginny and Walter in the U.S.A. Betty will be sadly missed by all her family and many friends. Many thanks to Linden House and Springhill Care Home for their care and attention. A service and cremation will be held at Pleasington on Monday 21st October 2019 at 3.45pm. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Broomfield Place, Witton.
