FREDERICK (FRED) PICKERING (Former Footballer of Rovers, England, Everton, Birmingham and Blackpool). Peacefully on Saturday 9th February 2019, at Haydock Care Home, Fred aged 78 years. Husband of June, much loved father of Andrew, Debbie and Danielle, loved grandad and great grandad, dear brother of Brenda Kathleen, Mary and the late Margaret and a brother-in-law and uncle. Fred will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends. A service and cremation will be held at Blackburn Cathedral on Friday 22nd February 2019 at 1.30pm prior to a cremation at 3.00pm. Family flowers only, or if so desired donations may be made in memory of Fred to The Stroke Association c/o The Alty Funeral Service. Enq. It was great to see you for your 78th birthday at Haydock nursing home and even though you was poorly you was so glad to see us and we was so happy to see you.
