JAMES (JIM) BARNES Peacefully after a short illness bravely borne on Friday 25th January 2019, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, with his beloved wife Joan and family by his side Jim aged 77 years. The loving and dearly loved husband of Joan for over 55 years, a much loved father of Richard and Marcus, a dear and loving father-in-law of Andrea and Claire, a devoted and loving grandad of Ella, Sam, Joe and Ben, loved brother of Muriel and the late George. Jim will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends. A service and cremation will be held at Pleasington Crematorium on Friday 8th February 2019 at 12.15pm. At the family's request, no all black attire please. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Broomfield Place, Witton. Family flowers only, or if so desired donations may be made in memory of Jim to the East Lancashire Hospice, c/o The Alty Funeral Service. Enq.
