JOHN BARTON Peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Monday 8th January 2018, after an illness bravely fought and whilst surrounded by his loving family, John aged 90 years. The beloved husband of the late Jean, a dearly loved dad of Paul, a much loved step-dad of Julie, a treasured grandad of Matthew, Oliver, Laura, James, Clare and Leanne, a dear brother in law and uncle, and also a good friend to many. John will be very sadly missed by all his family, friends and neighbours. A celebration of life service will be held at 10.30am on Friday 26th January 2018 in the Barton & Hallworth Service Chapel. A horse drawn cortege will then leave from John's home at 12.30pm for a graveside service followed by interment at Great Harwood Cemetery.
