HERBERT (BERT) LONGWORTH On Thursday, February 7, 2013, peacefully at his home, with his loving family by his side, Bert, aged 92 years. The much loved husband of the late Hilda, special dad to Marjorie and the late Alan, loving grandad of Jean, Lorraine, Thomas and Graham, treasured great grandad of Susan, Amanda, Matthew, Ben and Konrad, great great grandad of Luke, Dylan, Ella, Brogan, Emmie and Emily Rose. A church service will be held at St. Mark's Church on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 am, prior to a cremation at Pleasington Crematorium. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Broomfield Place, Witton. Family flowers only, or if desired donations may be made in memory of Bert to Cancer Research, 23 Parsonage Road, Wilpshire, Blackburn BB1 9PG c/o The Alty Funeral Service.
