THE pot holes on Gorple Road have been repaired but heavy rain and frost has created more.

The highways department will return to carry out repairs as soon as possible.

You think they are bad now. As a child we lived in fear of riding this wind swept route littered with bottomless bog and railway sleepers that slipped away under you. Getting to the Worsthorne side was a blessed relief in which we failed to notice holes that where paltry in comparison. At least it stops people speeding up and down!
