Two pupils from Todmorden High School will be among those who are going to visit the concentration camp at Auschwitz, thanks to a £4.65 million Government scheme announced by Schools Minister Jim Knight.
The trip forms part of the Holocaust Educational Trust, and comes just after the Holocaust Memorial Day, which is remembered on January 27th each year.
Mr. Knight said he was confident the visit would have an impact on the pupils.
