The council's development committee recommended approval for a planning application from Todmorden Lawn Tennis Club of Stansfield Road, to add metal roof cladding to the clubhouse after being told by the committee clerk the clubhouse roof was leaking.
The development committee raised no objection to a planning application submitted by Todmorden Unitarian Church for proposed lavatories and a kitchenette.
Chairman Councillor Julie Halstead said applications from grade one listed buildings had to be submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment. She felt sure the church authorities would ensure that everything had been completed properly.
Two farm houses which have seen major redevelopment are the subject of planning applications.
Mr and Mrs D Parker, of 32 Lime Avenue, Todmorden, are applying to Calderdale Council planning department for permission for the reinstatement of the house, Parrock Lower Laithe Farm, Shore News Road, Todmorden, including extensions and raising of the roof line to the existing barn.
Mr AJ Hardy is applying for planning permission to rebuild the ground floor extension in matching materials and construct a first floor extension above at Great House Clough Farm, Cross Stone, Todmorden.
