St Charles School Council voted to do something for Sports Relief. So, on Friday 14th March, the children wore their sports clothes, collected sponsor money from their parents and took part in a run around the yard. Most of the children completed six laps which was 1 mile. Even the teachers and support staff joined in! The total raised was £149.71 The children have been incredibly generous towards charities this Lent holding a Wear What You Want Day for CAFOD and raising £167.51 as well as collecting loose change and contributing to the Catholic Children's Rescue Society. £107.19 has been handed in already.

The total contributed by the children is already £424, with more to come in. What a wondeful way to prepare for Easter by helping others both at home and abroad. We are very proud of the children and their families.
