There will be a display on at Norden High School on Stourton Street on Friday March 7 from 6pm.
This is being put on by Groundwork, who are a national environmental regeneration charity, and they have various regional Trusts which support community projects. Their Pennine Trust is backing the Free Gardeners Residents Association on this matter.
They began the campaign to get the recreation ground developed. It is a council leased property but it is completely bare.
The display at the school is being put on to show the public what ideas have been developed with regards to the regeneration of the recreation ground and people are invited to make comments on those ideas and make their own suggestions.
This display is in support of the Free Gardeners Residents Association's bid for lottery funding.
