Ramsbottom Town Centre has had its bus link with the heart of Rossendale broken on a Sunday night.

Since Tyrer Bus services took over 481 bus services from Rossendale Transport it no longer operates the full compehensive route that Rossendale transport did.

Bank Holiday 481 services have also been withdrawn by Tyrer.

All Sunday Services between Ramsbottom Town Centre and Rawtenstall Town Centre have also been withdrawn by Tyrer as it now only operates between Holcombe Brook and Bury.

If you feel this loss of service is unacceptable please contact customer.relations@gmpte.gov.uk or ring 0161 244 1000 because I hope that you agree with me that this loss of service is just not on.

We subsidise many bus services out of our council tax...so lets have a decent service.

You can also contact Tyrer Buses on 01282 611 123 and Rossendale Transport on 01706 212337.

If the Goverment wants us to use more public transport...lets make sure its there!!!
