Members of Rishton and Great Harwood Soroptimists enjoyed an evening at the Auberge Restaurant Rishton to celebrate the installation of their new President.
Retiring Presidents Beryl Timmins and Mavis Dickinson installed Margaret Worden as the clubs new President for the coming year, with Mary Pollard taking up office as President Elect.
Soroptimist International is a Global Organisation for women and is committed to serving Local, National and International communities. As a group we work hard but most importantly we enjoy lots of fun and friendship.
President Margaret has chosen The East Lancashire Hospice' and Kenema School in Sierra Leone ' as the Charities she wishes to support during her Presidential year.
