    International Women's Day of Prayer

For over 30 years the four local churches in Balderstone, Osbaldeston and Mellor have joined together to celebrate this annual Day of Prayer.

The service 'God's Wisdom Provides New Understanding' has been prepared by the Christian women of Guyana. And this year it is the turn of St Mary's Mellor to host the service.

The day begins with a lunch in the Narthex before the ladies disperse to take a shortened version of the service to three local Nursing Homes.

At 7.30pm a service will be held in church with members from all 4 churches including mums of 'Little Angels', Sunday School teachers and older girls taking and active role in the service.

Everyone is cordially invited to attend and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat following the service.
