Over the past month or so, I have been frantically trying to promote BwD Freecycle.
We had a mailshot printed in the last edition of The Shuttle, On Monday of this week, I was live on Radio Lancashire, and I also did a broadcast over the phone for 107 The Bee.
Since the launch of the group on April 1st 2007 our membership has grown dramatically.

At the time of printing this article we have 1821 members.
The group is going from strength to strength.
We have kept over 5000 items out of the landfill sites.
Not bad for a community effort.
If you are not a member yet, it is free and easy to join.
Go to:
www.freecycle.org
then browse groups until you find your local group, and apply to join, then let the de-cluttering begin.
