A Trout in the Town river clean up is planned for this coming Sunday 27th April, this time the clean up is moving down into Town.
If you have a few hours to spare, why not come down to the Millennium Green area at the bottom of Bridge Street and say hello, roll your sleeves up and help to make a better environment for us all, this isn't just about fishing either, this is a Community based project to benefit all of us.
The river is a resource that the Town was built upon, and it is our Town and our river. Lets clean it up and encourage people to stop using the river as a conveyer belt for the detritus of our modern day living. When people lob their rubbish in the river they feel that it has gone, it may have for them, but it creates a total eyesore in the Town and a problem for others.
So come along and have some fun, do something for the Town and help to make a difference: Meeting at Millennium Green 0930 Sunday 27th April.
