Branch Rd/Parkinson Street Grate tops missing and causing a dangerous area for walkers
Its been brought to my attention from a local resident whilst we were monitoring todays Community Skip project. That a minimum of 8 grate tops had been STOLEN overnight, the area in question is Branch Road/Parkinson Street back streets, the first is located in the "cul de sac" and then everyone on the back street down to the junction of Springfield Road are MISSING. (SEE PHOTOS BELOW) please be careful whilst out walking, as I wouldn't want anyone to fall down these grate openings and hurt themselves :0(
Its been reported to Burnley Police Station, and Lancashire County Council Emergency Dept today Saturday 26th April. So please be careful whilst the relevant departments come along to replace the covers with NONE VALUABLE worthless ones that are worth nothing to the scrapers!
Thank you to the residents that care and want to see Burnley Wood a better and safer place.
