Its with great thanks to you all that made use of the Community Skip today. As you can see (from photos below) the skip was indeed another Massive success, within 45 minutes of the skip being delivered it was a 3rd full within 1.30hrs it was 3 quaters full, at 11am I rang the skip company to come to collect the FUKK skip as it was indeed well FULL :0) just what we wanted to see.
A huge thank you to you all for keeping the site and surrounding area clean. Again no-one brought anything that shouldn't have been allowed in the skip, again many thanks.
The skip was monitored by Dall Street Residents through-out the time the skip was in situ. Thanks goes out to these residents for giving up their time.
Finally I'd like to thank Burnley Council & The Environmental Officers for helping us to secure todays Community Skip Project.
We have proved WE as a community can help keep our Burnley Wood streets/back-yards free from rubbish.
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL, HUGE PAT ON THE BACK YOU ALL DESERVE IT.
