Dall Street Resident's Assoc, has secured another Community Skip for the Burnley Wood residents. This is the 2nd Community Skip in as many months. The first was a massive success and showed the need to continue this super, effective and benefical project.
The residents and I had everything firmly crossed in hope we could secure a further Community skip, and thanks again to Burnley Council, and the Streetscene dept for hearing our plea, and coming through for Burnley Wood, and its residents to help in the constant fight in trying to keep Burnley Wood clear from rubbish and the ever increasing residential fly-tipping community :0(
Skip site, time, date.
When... Saturday 26th April 2008
Where.. Same site as before, Kirk-gate/Branch Rd

could it be delivered slightly sooner
than 9am, so may be there earlier.

Co, closes dinner time on Saturdays.
I would personally suggest you make sure you have all your rubbish in the skip for 11.30am incase of early removal.
Please could we all respect the scheme/project/skip site area. Like we all did last time, Lets try to keep this project running for the future. So no White goods. I.E Fridges, Freezers etc.
The skip will be monitored to make sure the site/skip has NO side waste left, please make sure if you drop anything around the site area, that you please pick it up and put it into the skip.
Thanks to everyone for their parts in the project.

CE. You can put any domestic household rubbish, timber (preferibly sawn up to take up less space in the skip for others to use), old toys. All that is [bold]NOT[/bold] allowed is "[bold]White Goods[/bold] " such as [bold]Freezers, Fridges, Microwaves, cookers, fires[/bold] etc, as these need to be removed by other means.
I hope this clarifies your question. [italic]Posters have been given out in the area to advise, plus there is also one in the Community Notice Board on Finsley Gate if this helps[/italic] .
